Mykonos & Santorini

Only a little over 100km separates these two islands in the Cyclades archipelago but they are very different in character. Mykonos is famed for its nightlife and beaches that attract hipsters and celebrities while the main town offers a tempting choice of bars and restaurants along its whitewashed alleys, lined with vines and bougainvillea. Santorini is the spectacular result of a volcanic eruption many thousands of years ago and is one of the most romantic destinations on earth, with incredible landscapes and beautiful sunsets.

To Do List:

• Take a short boat trip from Mykonos to the uninhabited island of Delos to see the ancient ruins
• Join the party on the many sandy beaches on Mykonos’ south coast
• Relax over a drink in Little Venice, near the centre of Mykonos town, with the sea just inches beneath you
• Enjoy the spectacular sunset at Thira, Santorini’s capital, perched high on the cliffs above the Aegean Sea
• Bring your camera to Oia, Santorini’s most photographed village and quite stunningly beautiful
