The thrill of witnessing the Aurora Borealis is a real once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for many. The Northern Lights dancing up above is such a powerful and unique natural phenomenon it changes lives down on Earth. Being one of the best places to spot the Aurorae, Lapland is an incredible place to go hunting. Lets drive to the Finnish wilderness in search of these beautiful whispering lights. There we will set up base at laavu (Finnish grilling spot) where you can enjoy some grilled food and enjoy warm drinks, there we can watch the great views across all directions of the sky, providing a great opportunity to see the dancing lights. • This is a small group activity with a maximum number of 8. • Northern lights are not guaranteed, but we will drive at up to 100km from Rovaniemi in order to see. • DSLR camera is recommended. • In order to access the best locations a small amount of walking is required.

Evening-
A magical nighttime ride in the artic wilderness with Lappish people’s best friend, the reindeer.The guide will pick guests up from Kakslauttanen and provide thermal outfits at the farm. Guests sit comfortably in the sledge under warm blankets as the reindeer followed head calmly to the wintry forest.
We get to listen to the sound of silence and breathe in the fresh arctic air. Also, guests can admire the night sky during the ride and if lucky, they will see the Northern Lights!
Half way we have a break by the open fire, have some hot berry juice and listen to stories about the life of the reindeer in Lapland.
